Vanilla Glassware

This is the top shelf of the Media Center. Those things, that I will not part with, are so pretty. The Sundae glass in the front right, I love the three colors. I bought it because it had eye appeal. My friend from San Jose said, "Oh what a pretty sundae glass." My, that was a blonde moment. I had not thus far thought of its' use, only that it had the reflective vanilla tone that I am particularly drawn to. I especially like the bottle in the middle. I bought it while pulling a surprise visit on my co-host back in radio days. I found him in Crawford, IN, playing softball. That's a good story in itself -spare me the distraction; I was driving thru Crawford, when I heard on his station that the DJ's were playing softball at a certain field. That was easy...the town wasn't that big. I walked up to the gate -and he may have been at bat or catching, I got his attention, and likely ruined the play. We had a ball that day. He had a new girlfriend, and we hit it off well. The three of us ran downton to browse antique/junk stores. I ran across this bottle for not more than $5.00. I bought it, and have yet to duplicate it. As you can see since then, I have purchased several Vanilla things... but never to see that specific type of vanilla reflective glass, not in any other form, i.e., plate, candy dish, nothing...
Time Warp note: The day we scoured the stores, we sat down to eat at a Sports bar -it was the day of the first Brickyard 500. Look how far we've come since then. (I actually watch Nascar now!) Back to the books. I have half removed... what an undertaking...
